What is SecondRun.tv?
SecondRun.tv is an add-in for Windows Media Center (part of Windows 7) that allows you to bring together all the different types of media available (Flash based video content, local video files, Netflix instant streaming content, etc...) into one common and familiar interface. Every day more and more TV content is made available online through websites like Hulu and CBS.com but with all these new sources of TV content comes many different interfaces and methods of access to those sources. SecondRun.tv was created to bring all of those sources into one easy to use interface that is fully accessible via remote control.
SecondRun.tv also includes and intuitive and easy to use Channel Builder application that allows you to easily create new channels in SecondRun.tv... You can even download channels that other users have made and submitted to our channel repository!

[RELEASE] Version 1.0.1021.1 Released Posted: 10/20/2010 11:42:08 PM | By: Yaggs File Under: Home Page News |
I just released 1.0.1021.1 to the secure download area... Here is a summary of the changes / additions to this release:
- Added an option in the Channel Builder to specify a screen ration (4:3 or 16:9) to allow the Media Center plug-in to fit on 4:3 screens.
- Reworked the Channel Builder interface to narrow the width and height of the window so it will fit better on smaller resolutions.
- Chaned the way channels are submitted to the repository.
- Fixed a bug where certain characters in the guide xml file were causing the MC add-in to crash.
- Modified the WEB RSS feed processor to allow for feeds that have direct links to the flash players that are maximized by default (not full screen but the players are the only thing that loads and they load up filling the screen).
- Several minor bug fixes and some more clean up.
Again... we are getting close to public release with this build! As long as no major issues are found this might be the one!
