What is SecondRun.tv?
SecondRun.tv is an add-in for Windows Media Center (part of Windows 7) that allows you to bring together all the different types of media available (Flash based video content, local video files, Netflix instant streaming content, etc...) into one common and familiar interface. Every day more and more TV content is made available online through websites like Hulu and CBS.com but with all these new sources of TV content comes many different interfaces and methods of access to those sources. SecondRun.tv was created to bring all of those sources into one easy to use interface that is fully accessible via remote control.
SecondRun.tv also includes and intuitive and easy to use Channel Builder application that allows you to easily create new channels in SecondRun.tv... You can even download channels that other users have made and submitted to our channel repository!

I just posted version 1.0.1019.1 of SecondRun.tv 2.0... This release fixes a number of bugs as well as adding a few new features:
-
Fixed some issues when reading certain types of RSS feeds.
-
Added a 4th length for a shows size in the guide... now there are small (1 block), medium (2 blocks), large (3 blocks), and Full (full guide width) options.
- Added a new type of content for "Streams" that allows you to link directly to media based streams on the web.
- Fixed a bug with playing video files on a channel then moving to another channel and crashing.
- Added arrow to right side of channel rows that contain more shows than are visible without scrolling.
- Added an option to invert the virtual mouse controls in order to handle remotes with different number pad layouts.
This build is pretty much a release candiate... if no other major issues are found this release might be the one that gets released to the public! | | |
