Full Screen issues?
Leave a comment on this post with your FULL SCREEN resolution!

UPDATE: Don't worry about posting resolutions anymore!  I have found where the problem lies and am working on a new solution to do the full screen and high res!  There will be a new build in a day or two that has the new full screen functions in it!

Hi, I think I figured out the full screen issue, I had the issue and fixed it by changing what the zoom in windows media player is set to(there should be a zoom button on your remote). Hope that helps, worked for me!

800x600, on a second display (SDTV) --- doesn't go into full screen. If I run media center on the main display (1024x768), then it works fine.

1360x768 VGA to a SONY LCD TV. Using Windows 7 beta. Full screen does never work, just see a website where I can use the mouse to fullscreen. Also get a empty black message dialog without buttons on top of the website...

I have a full screen issue on my 1920 x 2020 plasma but I'm not sure its the same as others are experiencing. Going to full screen via SecondRun.TV doesn't seem to work (with the automated script I mean), and I have to manually click the Full Screen button in Hulu. However when I do this, I am zoomed in way to far, and only the top left quadrant of the video is shown on the whole screen. I'm not sure what is causing this, but if I go to Hulu in a web browser outside of SecondRun.TV and media center, the full screen works perfectly as one would expect. Are others experiencing this?

1920x1080. (With Vista Media Center) I agree with Jdubbs23, that the auto full screen isn't working, but I can manually click the full screen button. (I tried watching Fringe on Fox, and had to manually select full screen.) I also have it zoom too far looking like it aligned the top left of the image at the top left of my screen, but its clipping from the right and bottom. It's watchable, but when text such as opening credits appears at the bottom of the screen, it's cropped from view. Also when watching 4:3 aspect ratio shows, it looks funny because I see the black bar on the left, but the right-most black bar is cropped from view. Not a problem in and of itself, but like with the above situation, I'm losing the bottom of the video too. And yes, to add to my agreement of Jdubbs23, using Hulu from outside VMC, full screen works as expected, but MUCH less convenient.

Just a reminder that the new build has a 30 second delay before switching to full-screen. Make sure you're giving ample time for the program to adjust. OK. Carry on!

Have you given any consideration to joining the Open Media Library project on Code.Google.Com? This would be a fantastic plugin, and we already have a lot of great technology implemented in the WMC world.

1366x768. It looks like I have six more pixels than everyone else! This is a common resolution with "720P" HDTVs. Automatic fullscreen worked with the previous build but not the current one.

I still dont have any sound on my extender and the auto full screen almost never works on the extender. One good thing; I now can see the sub menus on my pc which I could not see in the first build. Just hang in there. The main thing is to get this to work on extenders. i stlll believe that some sort of transcoding is going to be needed to see video on an extender. Just my Two Cents JC

1920x1080 native (looks perfect on standard monitor) It appears that the Adjust to fit screen utility from Nvidia to ensure its all visible on my 1080p TV via hdmi actually changed it to: 1800x996 I wonder if I need to find a way to stick with 1920x1080 to be standard and find another way to center it besides that utility.

Hey Yaggs, I am on a 1920x1080 40inch tv and when I start a show in Secondrun.tv it works about half the time. Yesterday it started the show without full screen and it paused the video which I thought was very odd. I am running on Windows 7 build 7022 32bit.
